Freedome, an innovative startup and a leading outdoor experiences marketplace in Italy, has successfully closed a Series A round, raising a total of €2.5 million with the support of Growth Capital, which coordinated the operation.

The lead investor is Opes Italia SICAF EuVECA, a Venture Capital fund that supports the development and growth of innovative startups with a social impact. Alongside Opes, numerous partners participated in the operation, including SocialFare Seed, Bios Line Holding, and Premiaweb, who decided to reinvest, further confirming the validity of the growth strategy pursued by the startup over the years. Several Business Angels and new investors such as EGG SRL, LP Holding, and Ad.Astra Fund also joined the round.

This transaction is part of a broader growth plan and includes the first investment tranche of €300,000, completed by Freedome in 2022 through a convertible instrument, within the scope of the second batch of the A-Road acceleration and fundraising program.

This funding will enable the company to further consolidate its presence in the Italian market, initiate international expansion, expand the catalog of available activities, and integrate the offering with increasingly innovative and high-quality services. With this operation, Freedome reaches a total of €3.5 million raised since the company’s inception
