Freedome is a marketplace that aggregates the best outdoor activities offered by professional operators and makes them available to its users who can discover, compare and book experiences in a few clicks.

SCENARIO

The company was looking for funds to mark the first step in its scaling journey. The capital raised will be used for new hires, strong marketing investments, to enhance Freedomes’ brand positioning, and the consolidation of the Italian market as well as beginning the internationalization process.

In the context of the fundraising Freedome also became a benefit company.

The transaction was coordinated by Growth Capital that acted as the sole advisor in the operation. GC supported freedome in drafting the documentation package, in identifying the potential investors and in negotiating the terms and conditions of the investment round.

Freedome raised €2.5M in equity, with lead investor Opes Italia Sicaf, SocialFare Seed, Biosline Holding and other family offices and a pool of Business Angels.
