Growth Capital, in collaboration with Italian Tech Alliance and PedersoliGattai, has developed Italy’s first standardized model regulation for the implementation of Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOPs), using its own documentation as the foundation.

This regulatory framework provides startups and innovative SMEs with a clear, tax-efficient tool to attract, reward, and retain top talent—creating a direct link between company performance and beneficiary compensation.

The initiative marks a significant step forward for the Italian venture capital landscape and reflects Growth Capital’s ongoing commitment to fostering a more competitive, transparent, and founder-friendly innovation ecosystem.

The model was presented during a dedicated launch event featuring key players from the legal and VC communities, including Lucia Occhiuto (Italian Tech Alliance), Gregorio Lamberti (PedersoliGattai), Fabio Mondini de Focatiis (Growth Capital), Carlo Andrea Curti (Di Tanno Associati), Fabio Ugolini (TrueScreen), Gregorio Marini Clarelli (PFC Family Office), and Antonella Beltrame (Indaco Venture Partners).
