€15.5M Series B
Swiss cleantech company GR3N is revolutionizing PET and polyester recycling. The company’s patented MADE technology (Microwave Assisted Depolymerization) processes 100% of PET waste, compared to just 15% with mechanical recycling, producing food-grade monomers that can be recycled infinitely with no loss in performance. The technology produces high yield and reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 80% compared to virgin PET.
With the support of Growth Capital, GR3N raised a Series B of €15.5M to finance MODUS, a high-capacity recycling plant located in Spain which had already been selected to receive €35 million from the EU Innovation Fund. The round was led by 360 Capital, a leading Franco-Italian VC firm investing in Deep Tech and Climate Tech, with the participation of VP Textile as a new investor.
Growth Capital was financial advisor to GR3N on the deal, structuring the investor package, including business plan structuring and dynamic cap table modelling, defining the round structure, coordinating the fundraising process with management, and supporting the negation of the term sheet and investment agreement.
