€15M Series A
Dronus develops and produces remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) and automated solutions for security, inspection, and monitoring across industrial contexts. Its patented system combines drone fleets with an aerial base, NEST®, which fully automates takeoff, landing, and battery recharging. The technology enables remotely managed monitoring and inspection of critical infrastructure, industrial facilities, and public spaces.
The company has established major partnerships with Eni and Qualcomm and is deploying pilot projects across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Dronus is the only European company to hold two certifications from the EU Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), allowing its drone systems to operate beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) in urban environments.
With the support of Growth Capital, Dronus secured €15 million in fundraising to support the further development of its drone-in-box technology. The round was led by Algebris Investments, a global independent asset manager, together with Azimut, CDP Venture Capital, and SIMEST, and with follow-on investment from Eni Next, the corporate venture capital arm of the Eni Group.
Growth Capital served as exclusive financial advisor to Dronus, supporting the company in structuring the investor package, defining the round structure, identifying potential investors, and coordinating communications between new investors and existing shareholders. The advisory also covered the negotiation of term sheets and investment agreements, as well as the management and coordination of due diligence, signing, and closing.
