Cosmico is a European holding company operating in the Future-of-Work space.

The company was established as a leading HR Tech platform connecting top-tier digital freelancers (including designers, developers, marketers, and product professionals) with corporates, agencies, and startups seeking flexible, on-demand expertise. Founded in 2020, the company has been EBITDA-positive since inception and has demonstrated rapid, capital-efficient growth. At the time of its latest fundraising, Cosmico had built a community of over 35,000 digital professionals and served more than 300 B2B clients across multiple industries.

Building on this foundation, Cosmico undertook a Buy-and-Build strategy, expanding into three additional verticals: Talent-as-a-Service for the creator economy, employee engagement, and AI-enhanced team building.

Flatmates, acquired at 100% in 2026, brings Talent-as-a-Service to the creator economy, matching brands with creators and managing talent across content production and proprietary editorial channels. Creative Harbour focuses on Community-as-a-Service for employee engagement, helping companies build and sustain internal communities. Finally, Play New specializes in Talent Process Design for building teams of "SuperAgents," or professionals whose skills are amplified by AI. Together, these verticals give Cosmico a strong presence across the Future of Work market.

With the support of Growth Capital, Cosmico completed a €1.5 million Seed round, a €4 million Series A round, a €12 million Series B round, and executed three strategic buy-side M&A transactions involving Bioss, Flatmates, and Creative Harbour.

For the Series A and Series B rounds, Growth Capital acted as financial advisor, coordinating the entire transaction process, preparing the full documentation package, identifying and approaching potential investors, and managing negotiations. The Series A was led by Prana Ventures, with participation from 40Jemz and Intesa Sanpaolo, alongside a top-up investment from P101 in collaboration with Azimut. The Series B was led by P101 with the participation of existing investors, including Prana Ventures.

In the context of the buy-side M&A activity, Growth Capital supported Cosmico throughout the evaluation of potential targets, the design of the acquisition structures, assistance during due diligence, and the negotiation of the Quota Purchase Agreements. Two acquisitions-Bioss and Flatmates-were completed within less than one year, nearly doubling the size of the group, while the acquisition of Creative Harbour was successfully finalized the following year.

In addition, Cosmico participated in the third batch of the A-Road acceleration program, further strengthening its strategic positioning and growth trajectory within the Italian and European HR Tech ecosystem.
