$40M Series B, €10.6M Series A, €3.5M Seed, M&A Buy-Side

Caracol is one of Europe's fastest-growing DeepTech companies, specializing in advanced additive manufacturing, with applications across aerospace, luxury automotive, and nautical industries. Its large-format robotic manufacturing technology breaks through the dimensional limitations of traditional 3D printing, offering lower operating costs compared to conventional processes and other solutions on the market.

Over the past five years, Caracol has emerged as a standout in advanced robotic manufacturing, installing more than 100 platforms worldwide and delivering projects that reshape industrial supply chains across different sectors. Notable results include up to 70% cost savings for Ferretti Group in maritime applications, 50% reductions in lead times on carbon fiber tooling with Duqueine, and enabling circular-economy solutions for major U.S. contractor HITT. By the time of the Series B transaction, the company had built a track record of sustainable growth and strong operational performance, scaling to over 100 employees across Milan, Austin, and Dubai, and establishing a commercial footprint in more than 50 countries. Additionally, revenues had more than doubled year-over-year.

On the fundraising side, Growth Capital has supported Caracol across multiple rounds: the €3.5 million Seed round co-led by Primo Ventures and EUREKA! Venture SGR; the €10.6 million Series A co-led by CDP Venture Capital and NEVA; and the $40 million Series B, co-led by Omnes Capital and Move Capital alongside CDP Venture Capital.

On the M&A side, Growth Capital advised Caracol on a buy-side transaction involving the acquisition of the Advanced Manufacturing division of Hans Weber Maschinenfabrik GmbH, a German company with over 100 years of expertise in extrusion technologies.

In the Series A and Series B rounds, Growth Capital supported the company in all stages of execution: investor management and selection of the most suitable investors for negotiation, definition of the transaction structure, term sheet negotiation, management and coordination of the due diligence and closing.
